STOURPORT Swifts face a daunting trip to Southern League Division One Midlands champions Brackley Town on Saturday as they look to save themselves from relegation.
With two games left, Swifts are three points adrift of Berkhamsted Town at the bottom of the table and staring at the drop.
Phil Mullen's side crashed 3-0 at Stourbridge on Tuesday, while Berkhamsted boosted their hopes of survival by winning 2-1 at Rushall Olympic.
Swifts boss Mullen was left dejected after the mid-week defeat at the Glassboys and knows the odds are stacked against his team.
But he is refusing to give up and insists his players will do everything they can at the runaway league winners in Northamptonshire to save their status (3pm).
Only one team will be relegated from the league because of Solihull Borough's almalgamation with Moor Green.
Mullen said: "I was massively disappointed with the performance against Stourbridge. We didn't really compete and fell away.
"That puts us right back in it and with Berkhamsted winning at Rushall, they are in the driving seat.
"To be playing top of the league and the champions, we have just got to keep trying, hope we can get something out of it and pray that Berkhamsted slip up at Cinderford."
Mullen's side will be at full-strength going into the match but have won just once in their last 13 matches, a run stretching back to mid-February.
The manager added: "It was only a few weeks ago that it was in our hands but now we are relying on other people.
"It's a depressing situation but we will give it out best shot."
