TWO excellent wins against strong opposition crowned Droitwich Under 16s' tour of Holland.
It was good preparation for their North Midlands Cup final against Bromsgrove on Sunday.
Against RC Nieuwegin, Droitwich triumphed 64-0 with Chris Rouse scoring three tries.
Luke Harris, Danny Garner, Tom Stedman, Harry Baille, Matt Thorneycroft, Jack O'Hara and Max Fitter also scored with Bobby Scott-Walker adding seven conversions.
Droitwich then took on Dutch national champions Castricum who were unbeaten in three years.
But the English side were too strong, running out 29-0 winners with big powerful tackling and high determination.
Scott-Walker scored a try, a penalty and three conversions with Fitter, Harris and Jack Pomroy also diving over.
Droitwich returned home to defeat a physical Tewkesbury side 29-10 in a friendly.
Despite resting a number of players, Droitwich let their rugby do the talking. Adam Gwilliam (two), Charles Jackson, Harris and Chris Rouse scored the tries. Baillie and Scott-Walker converted one each.
