EVESHAM Sunday League rivals Bretforton Old Boys and Red Horse contest the Worcestershire FA Sunday Junior Cup Final at Evesham United's Common Road Ground on Friday (6.30pm extra-time and penalty kicks to decide result if necessary).
A new name is guaranteed on the trophy this year as neither side has previously appeared in this final since the competition began in 1967.
Bretforton reached the final with victories over Offenham Rovers (7-0), Star & Garter (3-0), South Redditch (4-2) and Ambassador (3-1) after a bye in round one.
Red Horse's route to the final saw them defeat Webheath (2-1), D&P (4-1), Bear (4-0) and Harriers Trust (4-3 aet), again after a bye in round one.
Match officials appointed for the final are PK Harding (referee), D Curtis and A McDermott (assistant referees) and M Latham (reserve official).
Adult admission to the final is £2. Concessions are £1.
Meanwhile, the next meeting of the Mercian Festival Junior Football League will be on Sunday at the Bell Inn, St Johns, Worcester (8pm).
It is important that all clubs are represented as registration forms for next season will be available together with admission passes for participating cup finalists.
