WORCESTER Wolves Under 18s have made it to the play-offs in their first National League season.
The young guns won the Under 18s West Midlands Conference championship with 11 wins and just one loss to qualify for the national play-offs.
Wolves face Derby Trailblazers, third in the higher Midlands Premier League with an 11-5 record, at the University of Worcester Sports Centre on Saturday (5pm).
Wolves coach Larry Kineman said: "Scouting reports indicate the Trailblazers have similar strengths to Worcester Wolves, dominated by a very strong inside game. Of course, statistics and records can be an indication of the better team, but the reason the game is played is that on any given day, any given team can beat another team.
"As the coach I feel good about our chances to compete on equal footing with the Derby Trailblazers."
Director of basketball Mick Donovan said: "The coaches and the team have worked hard to earn the right to be in the play-offs.
"The most exciting thing about their attitude is their desire to keep improving and not settle for their impressive debut season to date. We are very proud of the under 18 program."
Wolves are encouraging supporters to cheer on the teenagers in the biggest game in their short history.
