DROITWICH driver Richard Hay is back on the grid on Friday.
The 42-year-old television company director will be in action in opening rounds of the Evo Caterham Eurocup.
He takes his Caterham CSR 260 sports car to the German Grand Prix circuit of Hockenheim.
There will be two half-hour sprint races on Friday followed by Saturday's one-hour endurance event.
Hay will be sharing his vehicle with West Sussex driver Clive Richards.
Last year, they won many races together in their Caterham but missed out on the ultimate prize.
"We have had enough of finishing second in the championship," declared Hay. "This year it's win or bust."
Their toughest opposition includes a CSR shared by double Caterham champion Oliver Bull and young Le Mans driver Ed Morris, and 2005 Eurocup champion Jamie Constable.
