GAVIN Hurren's long range lob was not enough to earn Kidderminster Harriers a second consecutive Nationwide Conference win.

At a sunny Wessex Stadium, Harriers took the lead on 12 minutes when Simon Russell sent Hurren through on goal.

The midfielder spotted Terras 'keeper Nick Jones had advanced off his line and, from 30 yards out, clipped the ball over him and into the net.

Weymouth's Nick Crittenden is a player who has caused Harriers many problems during his career with the likes of Yeovil and Aldershot and he was the hosts' main danger-man. James Coutts was also lively for Weymouth and it was no surprise that he was heavily involved in the home side's 21st-minute equaliser.

The wide player whippd a low cross into the Harriers' penalty area and picked out Crittenden, who hit the ball first-time into the roof of Scott Bevan's net.

After the break, Crittenden stung Bevan's hands when he looked certain to score and Russell left the crossbar shaking with a vicious effort.
