AGGBOROUGH legend Paul Davies has ur-ged Wyre Forest residents to turn Kiddermin-ster, Stourport and Bewdley into "ghosttowns" on May 12 when Harriers take on Stevenage Borough in the FA Trophy final at the new Wembley.
The 46-year-old Stourport Swifts assistant manager, universally known as Ocker,' is calling on Harriers fans to visit Wembley in their thousands to cheer on Mark Yates' glory-seekers when they do battle with Conference rivals Boro.
"I'd like to think that all three towns ought to be empty on that day," said the former Kidderminster hot-shot, who played a major role in the Aggborough club winning the coveted trophy in 1987.
After a goalless draw against Burton Albion at Wembley, he scored twice when Kidderminster won the replay 2-1 at West Bromwich Albion's ground.
He added: "I think the big interest is that it's being played at the new Wembley stadium.
"That's obviously going to add a little bit more to it and it's such a great occasion for a non-league club.
"For the players and the fans it will be a fantastic day.
"It was every time I went there and I'd like to think that the towns around here do empty and support the club," added Davies.
"It's at the new Wembley and a lot of people are looking at it as a chance to go down there and see it - what better way than to watch their home town club?"
