AN eight-race card at South Herefordshire Hunt point-to-point starts at 1pm at Garnons, near Hereford, on Sunday.
Despite heavy midweek rain and a forecast of soft ground, a competitive card is on show for racegoers.
There are 16 entries in the Men's Open race, including Paddy for Paddy, the likely mount of national champion Richard Burton, with possible opposition from the Marilyn Scudamore-trained Galway and Mister Felix.
Galway holds a number of entries, including the PPORA Club Members where 29 are entered, including Lough Ennel, trained by Nicky Sheppard, and Un Jour A Vassey.
The Restricted Open race could see a reappearance of Whitwick winner The Risen Lark, owned in partnership by John Williams, father of top trainer Venetia Williams.
