WORCESTER director of rugby John Brain believes there are still enough games left for his side to save their Premiership skins.
Warriors have fallen seven points adrift at the bottom of the table after they lost at Gloucester on the same day that closest rivals Northampton pulled off a shock win at Leicester.
But with Bath visiting tomorrow (3pm), Brain believes it's not too late to pull off the most unlikely of escapes.
"We might need to win four, five or even six of the remaining six games to stay in this league but that is possible," he said. "It has been done before and it is something we are capable of doing."
The Sixways chief wants his side to cut down on the mistakes that proved so costly at Kingsholm. Worcester handed possession to their opponents for two of their three tries and ended up losing a game they should have won.
"We are committing suicide on the pitch which is handing the opposition the initiative and meaning that we lose matches," said Brain. "Saturday was a classic example.
"Two tries were down to individual errors and the individuals involved will be the first ones to put up their hands. It was exactly the same when we played Harlequins. You can't legislate for that."
Worcester could be boosted by the return from injury of Drew Hickey and Shane Drahm for the match, while Brain will assess the condition of Chris Horsman's ankle before deciding whether he plays any part.
Despite Horsman's involvement with Wales in the Six Nations, he is still available for his club if fit.
The same applies to Bath's England trio - Danny Grewcock, Steve Borthwick and Lee Mears - who have all been named in Brian Ashton's squad to face France next week.
"We expect a big test up front," added Brain. "They have got a very able pack of forwards and a very, very good line-out. They have got Steve Borthwick and he runs that area. That will be the first key battle in the game.
"If we can make sure our own set-piece is functioning well then we have a chance."
History suggests Warriors will have their work cut out against a side they have never beaten and on a ground where they are yet to win a Premiership match this season.
But Bath are as bad on their travels as Worcester are at home, picking up just two points on the road all season.
