FITNESS doubts are lingering over James Noel and Matt Collins ahead of Worcester Wolves' British Basketball League trip to Chester Jets tomorrow night (7.30).
The club are awaiting medical clearance to play Collins after he suffered mild concussion in a collision during last weekend's 93-71 defeat to Guildford Heat.
Noel is struggling with a slight hamstring injury.
Point-guard Collins has not trained this week but is determined to play at some stage at the Northgate Arena and Michael Gayle is likely to get plenty of minutes on the court.
Chester beat Wolves 112-94 at Northgate in January when new signing from the United States, Louis McCullogh, scored 45 points.
However, Wolves have defeated Jets twice this year in the BBL and the National Trophy. Chester are on a poor run of form, having won only one of their last seven games.
Wolves head coach Josh Cooprider said: "We travel in good heart, despite the injury worries, and look to improve our overall performance from last week.
"We did not play well against Chester last time and allowed Louis McCullogh too much space. We certainly have to work on closing him down earlier."
Wolves host Sheffield Sharks on Saturday (7pm tip-off).
