THE University of Worcester basketball team's dream of winning the British Universities Championships for the third year running remains on course after a 121-44 beating of Edinburgh.
The students put in a commanding performance at the University of Worcester sports centre, with Wolves regulars Andy Harper, James Noel and Tom Perkes all scoring heavily. Ben Potts and Steven Archer also impressed.
The Worcester team go into the final-eight stage next Friday at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield.
Director of basketball Mick Donovan said: "It was nice as the Edinburgh coach came up to me and said, This was the draw we wanted - we wanted to play against the best university side in the country'."
