ANDY Preece insists Worcester City want to win the Worcestershire Senior Cup.
City host tenants Evesham United in the semi-finals at St George's Lane tomorrow night (7.45).
The player-manager is expected to underline his intentions of claiming a piece of silverware by fielding a strong line-up.
Midfielders Dale Watkins and Gary Walker will definitely start, while some of the side that beat Lancaster 4-1 on Monday could also feature.
"It will be a strong side," Preece said. "Dale Watkins and Gary Walker deserve their chance. Other than that it will be first-team players.
"We want to win something and we are in it to win it."
Midfielders Steve Duncan (Achilles) and Mark Hands (ankle) are doubts for Evesham, while Shane Bejamin (work) is missing.
Striker Troy Wood, on loan at Evesham, is ineligible as he has already played for City in the competition.
Worcester climbed to eighth in Nationwide North following the Lancaster victory but Preece was disappointed not to have kept a clean sheet.
