Evesham Utd 2, Aylesbury Utd 2 United twice came from behind to force a draw against play-off rivals Aylesbury at St George's Lane.

Substitute Troy Wood blasted in a brilliant leveller 12 minutes from time just two minutes after being introduced by Evesham boss Paul West.

It was half-time replacement Shane Benjamin who had earlier been involved in the goal that replied to Luke Melisi's 40th minute opener.

Benjamin set up Mark Owen six minutes after coming on and the striker's shot was turned for a corner from which Liam Daly nodded in Simon Fitter's flag-kick.

However, parity lasted just seven minutes when Richard Pringle fired past Nathan Vaughan from eight yards.

It was horrible luck on the Robins who had Anthony Watson receiving treatment on the sidelines at the time.

However, Wood's super strike levelled matters and the on loan Worcester striker came closest to snatching all three but saw another fierce flash narrowly wide.
