IT has been a phenomenal season for Worcester Wolves both on and off the floor and it is just reward for everyone who has been involved with the club.
I really want to thank the people that have been part of the organisation for all those years and have kept faith in looking forward to days of success like we've had this season.
Along with owner Roger Clarke, there's been a few people who've stuck it out so I'm delighted we've been able to build a team to put a smile on their faces.
Over the last two or three seasons, other teams have started to steadily look over their shoulders at what we've been doing as a club with our basketball programme.
People take us seriously and they know we're a serious club with a fantastic facility in the University Arena which is going to help encourage quality players to come to Worcester.
I think I do a pretty good coaching job with the players and we've got a good structure. I think our rivals realise we're going to be tough to beat in the years ahead.
It was all about building this programme when I arrived and I knew one day we could win things because everything was in place.
For all that to come together at the right time is awesome so it ranks really highly in my career, especially given the nature of our model here with the study and play programme at the University of Worcester.
Having a great partnership with the university and student athletes mixing with professionals, as well as working with all the resources that come with it, it's been a fantastic experience for me. It's always special when you go to a club and win something.
The one thing that really made us believe was the first game at the arena against Leicester Riders. That was a special moment for a lot of people because, not only were we in the arena for the first time, we were playing against the league champions and to do what we did to them set everybody thinking about what could be for the rest of the season.
The other day we were out reflecting on the campaign over a drink and we were talking about last season's team, which I thought was more balanced than this year, although it didn't quite pan out for us because of injuries and people arriving late.
It was quite a heated debate as to who would beat who but the current team is certainly mentally tougher than last season's, the will to win was unbelievable.
At times in training it was a fine line before things spilled over because they wanted to win so much and that's a great situation to be in.
