I AM really proud of the Worcester Warriors players and how far we've come as a team.

If you take where we are in the league out of it, in the last two months our performances have improved out of sight to where they were in the first few months of the season.

It's really satisfying to be part of a team now that can go anywhere, compete really well and be proud to play for the Warriors. I am sure people can see that.

That was the case last weekend because The Rec is a tough place to go and Bath are a very powerful side but I think there was a point in the second-half when it felt like we had them on the rack.

However, the sub plot to all this is where we are in the league and needing points. It's disappointing because at one point it looked like we were going to get the win at Bath but they snuck a try at the end.

I firmly believe we're not the worst team in the league but rugby is played over the course of a season and we weren't good enough for the first-half.

The league table doesn't lie in that sense but in terms of where we are now, we're certainly not the worst.

We've grown as a team and I think Ryan Lamb has improved us a lot since he's come on board. It's no coincidence that since he arrived in February our performances have improved a lot of well.

He creates holes for talented backs like Chris Pennell and David Lemi so he's been a big boost for us.

But we are at the bottom and we've got two games and we need to try to get two wins. There's a lot of determination within the group to try to do all we can to keep survival.

This is a tough league and there's never an easy game, none more so than Saracens, who are a top side, on Saturday week.

There's an air of confidence about us at the moment, we're confident in our game and everyone knows the role they have within the team and the need to execute that.

We believe that if we do all we can that we can get the win.

Sarries have pretty much secured top spot so what will their motivation be for that game? Will it be as much for us as it will be for Clermont Auvergne in the Heineken Cup this weekend?

This is it for us because if we lose there's no second chances so this is literally our cup final. If we get something out of it then Gloucester becomes our cup final.

There's a lot to play for but we're really looking forward to it and we'll give it our best shot.
