WORCESTERSHIRE completed their preparations for the new season with a disappointing 65-run defeat against Glamorgan at Chester Road.
Having dismissed the visitors for 145 in 35.5 overs, the County slumped to a dismal 80 all out in the 28th over.
It means Steve Rhodes’ side have failed to record a victory in any of their warm-up matches in England ahead of the LV= County Championship Division Two opener at Hampshire, which starts on Sunday.
Worcestershire previously drew their three-day clash at Somerset and lost by seven wickets to Gloucestershire in a 50-over contest.
That was followed by a rain-ruined three-day match against Gloucestershire at Bristol when the New Road side were trailing by 147 runs at the end of the second day.
They would have been hoping for a victory in yesterday’s one-day fixture but came up short once again.
Chris Russell recorded figures of 4-48, while Joe Leach (3-41) and Nick Harrison (2-32) were also among the Glamorgan wickets.
In reply, Worcestershire were reduced to 17-4 after Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Ed Barnard were both dismissed without scoring. Skipper Daryl Mitchell made nine and Alexei Kervezee two.
Harrison top-scored with 16 but Leach (13) and Joe Clarke (10) were the only other batsmen to reach double figures.
Will Owen claimed a hat-trick for the visitors.
Meanwhile, Moeen Ali scored just three runs as England’s lamentable winter lurched to a new low as they bowed out of the World Twenty20 with a shambolic 45-run defeat to lowly Holland.
England coach Ashley Giles and captain Stuart Broad both blamed a chronic case of complacency after they were dismissed for just 88.
Giles can now expect a tricky final interview for the vacant position of head coach.
