JUST one ball was possible on day three of Worcestershire’s warm-up game with Gloucestershire at Bristol before the match was rained off.
The contest ended as a draw with the hosts, who made 353-5 declared in their first innings, poised to bat for the second time after having dismissed the County for 206 at the end of day two.
Steve Rhodes’ men are next in action on Monday when they tackle Glamorgan in a one-day friendly at Kidderminster's Chester Road North ground.
It will be the County's final practice game before the LV= County Championship Division Two opener against Hampshire at the Ageas Bowl starts a week on Sunday.
In the World Twenty20, Worcestershire’s Moeen Ali will hope to play his part as England bid for a semi-final place when they tackle South Africa in Chittagong tomorrow (1.30pm GMT).
Moeen was dismissed for a first-ball duck but England won their last game against Sri Lanka by six wickets.
However, they still need to beat South Africa to avoid elimination from the tournament.
