THIS weekend is one of the biggest in Worcester Wolves' history.
As well as the British Basketball League Trophy final against Glasgow Rocks on Sunday, we have a crucial Championship match against Sheffield Sharks at the University Arena tomorrow night.
Myself and some of the Wolves players were also involved in the British Universities and Colleges Sports final against Loughborough at Surrey Sports Park yesterday.
All that means we have had to find a balance between how much we train and how much effort we put in. It's a very big week with the final and we want to make sure we are in the best condition for that match.
I have experienced similar weeks with other clubs but not all of these players have been through it so we will do our best to make sure we stay calm.
We have got some experienced guys like Zaire Taylor, Alex Owumi and Will Creekmore and let's not forget Jamal Williams either. He was part of the Mersey Tigers team that won the league, play-offs and trophy in the 2010-11 season.
We can get excited about it but too much so we freeze and don't perform. I am sure we have got enough experience so it's a case of going out there and not doing anything differently to what we have all season.
If we can do that we will give ourselves a great chance of putting some silverware in the trophy cabinet.
I think the final will be a very emotional occasion for those that have been with the club since day one. I am sure they are going to enjoy the day out regardless of the result but it's a big day for the club.
The excitement has been building since the semi-final and everybody is talking about it.
But first we face Sheffield so that becomes our most important game. If we want to win the league, we need to win all eight remaining games and that's in our hands.
It's there for us to do so it's another huge match for us. We played them in reaching the Trophy final so we know what they are about and they know about us. It could be a special game on Friday.
Every game we have played this season has been a potential Championship winner and when we have played Friday-Saturday or Friday-Sunday, we haven't had the luxury of relaxing.
We have given it all we have had, the only difference this time is the magnitude of the game against Glasgow on Sunday.
Following the Sharks fixture, we'll have a light session on Saturday before taking a steady drive up to Glasgow. We will then have a team meal on Saturday night and hopefully, on Sunday, we will get on the court to get used to the surroundings before the final at 3.15pm.
