MANAGER Carl Heeley believes recording 20 clean sheets is not beyond his Worcester City team this season.
Tuesday's stalemate against Stockport County at Aggborough was the 17th time an opposing team have failed to score against Worcester this season, 11 of which have come in Skrill North.
City have conceded 45 goals in the league this term, the best of any team outside the top 10.
But, by contrast, only basement boys Workington have scored fewer than 15th-placed Worcester's 34 goals.
Heeley admits his side have not been prolific enough in front of goal but praised his players for their defensive efforts.
He said: "It was another clean sheet and that statistic keeps getting better and better. It's something that we're proud of and every player in that squad who's played a part should be proud of keeping clean sheets.
"As a former defender you take pride in them and if we could get up to 20 clean sheets in all competitions that would be an unbelievable statistic."
Worcester had chances against Stockport to record a second victory in 48 hours following Sunday's 2-0 success against Vauxhall Motors but couldn't convert them.
Heeley said: "It was probably the right result overall, they dominated possession in the first-half, hit the bar and had one other chance.
"That said, all the best chances in the game fell to us. Daniel Nti had a great chance in the first-half and Martin Devaney was very unlucky with an audacious 40-strike which would have been a contender for goal of the season had it gone in."
He added: "They'd had an extra day's rest and are full-time. For us to play Sunday-Tuesday is hard on the legs and I thought that showed in the first-half but in the second-half I thought we were the stronger side and if anybody looked like winning, it was us.
"Four points from the two games is not a bad return."
