HEREFORD United have handed control of the first team to youth team boss Pete Beadle after yesterday’s departure of management duo Martin Foyle and Andy Porter.
Beadle, who guided the Hereford United youth team to the fourth round of this season’s FA Youth Cup, takes over control of the first team on a caretaker basis with immediate effect.
The former striker, who had spells at Gillingham, Bristol Rovers and Bristol City, as well as a managerial stint at Newport County, brings back his former youth team number two Steve Jenkins as assistant manager.
Non-executive director Colin Addison will take a closer involvement in first team affairs.
