NOW we know we'll be playing Glasgow Rocks in the British Basketball League Trophy final, I think everyone can look forward to a fantastic match.
Playing the Rocks at their home venue makes the occasion on Sunday week that bit more special and I think it's going to be one hell of a final.
I'm feeling really good about it. We're excited that we've been able to reach one of our goals that we set out at the start of the season.
It's a great opportunity to go on now and get the first piece of silverware for the club. We're not satisfied yet in just getting to the final, we want to go and win it now that we've got there.
It's about making the most of that opportunity we have, now is the time and we need to grasp that with both hands.
Glasgow are playing on their own court which means it's going to be a loud and vociferous crowd and it's something we're going to relish playing against. It should be a fantastic atmosphere.
There are a few of our fans going but I don't think it's going to be anywhere near the number Glasgow will have but that's just the way it goes.
The last time we played up there they had a big crowd and I'm sure there will be plenty of neutral people as well.
We have played some of our better games away from home in front of crowds that have been against us so there's no fears for us.
I'm not sure why that is but some football teams play better away from home, maybe it's the pressure of having the home crowd behind you.
Don't get me wrong, we've played some really good games at the arena but there are four or five games away from home when we've been outstanding.
Whether that's because we've got the rest of the crowd against us and the combative element comes out in us more, I'm not sure.
That said, our home form has been great and we've only lost two games at the arena all season. Some of them have been ugly wins but sometimes you've got to do that.
Before the final, we host Plymouth Raiders in the Championship on Friday and Sheffield Sharks the week after.
However, regardless of whether it's the Trophy final, league game or a shoot-out in training, the players just want to win every competition.
The mental toughness is certainly there this year and I think we've shown throughout the season how tough and resilient we are as a team.
I don't think there's going to be any issues in us having complacency in looking towards the final, we'll just be looking at the next game.
