MANAGER Carl Heeley described Worcester City's victory at Barrow as the perfect away performance.
Daniel Nti's 56th-minute goal, coupled with a robust defensive display, saw City triumph and end the Bluebirds' two and-a-half-month unbeaten run.
It was also Worcester's 14th clean sheet of the campaign in all competitions.
Heeley said: "We didn't have many chances but we took one and we defended as well as we have all season.
"We know we're capable of it and it's another clean sheet - it was the perfect away performance. I can't speak highly enough of the players.
"Credit to Barrow, they're a good side who had been on a great run and it was the first time they'd been beaten in 15 games.
"It's up there with the Altrincham and Guiseley away wins without a question of doubt.
"We gave them a lot of respect, had a gameplay and everyone stuck to their job for 90 minutes. They had a lot of possession but seldom troubled us."
He added: "In the summer we said we were going to be a difficult side to break down and we've incredibly at doing that.
"It's not a fluke, it's through sheer hard work and determination and we've got a result because of it. Fourteen clean sheets is an incredible statistic."
Heeley also praised the club's board of directors who, along with an anonymous donation, funded the team's overnight stay in Lancaster on Friday.
The City boss said: "There's a lot of good people with a lot of goodwill at Worcester City and it allowed us to come up on Friday evening, stay in Lancaster, have a nice meal and get some rest.
"We prepared correctly but that's down to people's goodwill and it's been a massive help for us because on the pitch we were unbelievable."
