GARY Whild could add yet more reinforcements to his Kidderminster Harriers squad as they prepare to challenge for the play-offs.
The new manager, who took over from Andy Thorn on Wednesday, has already introduced a new face at Aggborough by recruiting Amari'i Bell from Birmingham City on a youth loan until the end of the season.
Bell, 19, can play in a variety of positions down the left and could be included in the squad for today's Skrill Premier match at Wrexham (3pm).
He made his Blues debut in the Championship in the 2-1 defeat at St Andrew's against Leicester City in January, as well as playing 19 games on loan at Nuneaton Town in non-league's top-flight earlier this season.
Whild is looking for Bell to provide cover and competition for places in Harriers' final 13 games of the season and has hinted at more additions.
The Harriers boss, who has also drafted in former Premier League-winning keeper Tim Flowers as a coach, said: "Games will be coming thick and fast so we need to help the lads who are here by bringing one or two in.
“We have looked at Amari’i, he’s already played in the Championship and he is someone who can play in a number of positions.
“It’s good to bring someone like that in and it gives us a bit of cover on the left-hand side.”
Meanwhile, chairman Ken Rae has insisted that poor results was not the reason behind the dismissal of Thorn.
Harriers won just two of their eight league matches during the former Wimbledon defender's tenure.
Rae knows Whild from their time in the same roles at Redditch United, when Whild kept the Valley Stadium outfit in the Conference North.
The Kidderminster chief said: “The decision to remove Andy was not based on results, the board of directors felt we had to do something. We wish him the best of luck in the future.”
