MARK Yates is desperate for the Kidderminster Harriers bandwagon to keep rolling into the new year after a string of impressive results.
Harriers travel to struggling Southport today (3pm) for a Nationwide Conference clash and the manager wants to see more of the same from his side.
At the start of December, the Aggborough boss set his players a five-win target and -despite the blip of the FA Trophy draw with Vauxhall Motors - he has been delighted with the team's response.
He said: "Hopefully we can maintain the momentum we have got at the moment when we take on Southport today.
"The boys believe in themselves and we're playing some decent football."
Yates has a fully fit squad to chose from for the trip to Haig Avenue.
Sandgrounders boss Paul Cook, who saw his side play well but ultimately lose 2-1 at home to Morecambe in their last match, is expecting a tough match against resurgent Harriers.
He said: "We did so many things right against Morecambe and I have to pick every one of my players up because we showed so much.
"It is another big test against a Kidderminster side who have been on a good run so we know what we have to do."
Southport 'keeper Paul Harrison returned to training this week after illness, while James Olsen has recovered from a bruised foot.
