EVESHAM United manager Paul West has called on his side to convert draws into three points.
The Robins have drawn nine of their 19 Southern League Division One Midlands matches this season, including 1-1 draws with Stourbridge and Malvern over the Christmas weekend.
They will be looking to end that sequence when Stourport Swifts visit St George's Lane on Saturday (3pm).
But West says United need to be more ruthless if they are to put pressure on the promotion-chasing pack, particularly when teams visit their temporary Worcester base.
He said: "We are trying to keep in touch with the play-offs - that's the objective, so we have got to try and turn some of these draws into wins.
"We have got to be a bit more clinical and try and put teams away. It's happened to us on numerous occasions this season.
"With the three-point system you are probably better off losing two and winning one than having three hard-fought draws."
"It's a local derby," he added. "People enjoy coming to Worcester and at the end of the day the lads have to respond to that."
Phil Mullen takes on his old team for the first time since becoming the new boss at Swifts last month.
Stourport have lost their last two games, 4-2 at Solihull Borough on Boxing Day and 2-1 at home to Barton Rovers last Saturday.
Manager Mullen said: "On the back of two defeats it's going to be a difficult one for us but we still have belief.
"The first game we should have won at a canter but we didn't put our chances away. We were sloppy and paid for it.
"The second game was more even but we didn't take our chances and have paid for it dearly in the second-half.
"We are not far away from results but unfortunately it was two defeats. It could easily have been two wins or at least we should have got something out of the game."
Striker Dean Curtis is fit again for Swifts but fellow forward Richard Burgess has suffered a recurrence of his back injury.
Evesham are still without Steve Luckett but were given a boost on Boxing Day when Mark Hands featured as a substitute after a groin injury.
