INTERVAL changes injected new life into a lacklustre Evesham United side as they drew 1-1 at Stourbridge.
A vastly improved second-half showing saw Liam Daly equalise and Duncan Willetts almost snatch a late winner in the Southern League Division One Midlands clash.
Andy Wright gave Stourbridge a 23rd-minute lead with a looping header over a stranded Nathan Vaughan who then parried a shot from Mark Bellingham.
Both sides had efforts wiped out for offside but a revived Robins started the second-half brighter and Richard Ball tested Lewis Solly.
New recruit Paul Bonar joined Grant Pinkney and Willetts in the fray after 57 minutes and six minutes later Daly netted after Solly spilled Pinkney's free-kick.
Vaughan was earlier grateful to his woodwork when Scott Stevenson fired in a volley.
Solly turned over efforts from Ball and Leon Blake before Vaughan denied Jon Ford.
Willetts saw Solly touch over an 88th-minute strike that could have made it a happier Christmas for the visitors.
Meanwhile, Bromsgrove Rovers suffered stage fright in front of a 467-strong crowd as they were second best to promotion rivals Chasetown in a 2-0 home defeat.
Their third league defeat in a row dented hopes of winning automatic promotion to the Premier Division.
Lee Bullimore did the damage for Chasetown on 22 and 49 minutes.
