TEN-MAN Malvern Town pulled off an important 3-2 win over lowly Spalding United in Southern League Division One Midlands.
Town were reduced to 10 men after only nine minutes when Wes Joyce saw red for a tackle on Andy Stanhope.
Spalding went ahead in the 18th minute through Dan Cotton but Malvern levelled when Darren Wade slotted home from close range.
Malvern took the lead on 25 minutes through Rik Halion after Jamie Hyde's free-kick was spilled.
'Keeper Craig Humphries denied Spalding with great saves but they levelled before half-time through Dan George.
However, Malvern bagged the points on 73 minutes when Daniel Harding-Hall swooped.
Meanwhile, Mitch Butler scored as Stourport Swifts lost 2-1 at home to Barton Rovers.
