Stourbridge 1, Evesham Utd 1 LIAM Daly's close-range finish after 63 minutes earned Evesham a draw at third in the table Stourbridge.
A dismal first half show was forgotten as the visitors turned in a far better second 45 minutes when latest recruit Paul Bonar impressed after coming on after 57 minutes.
Paul West's side fell behind after 23 minutes when Andy Wright looped a header over Nathan Vaughan and there was little to suggest that United would make a comeback.
However, Bonar's introduction and two half-time changes had the desired effect and Evesham were unlucky not to have tripled their points total.
Duncan Willetts almost snatched a late winner but his shot two minutes from time clipped the top of the crossbar.
Scott Stevesnon had earlier thumped a volley against Nathan Vaughan''s crossbar but Stourbridge were grateful to a couple of fine stops from Lewis Solly that prevented Richard Ball and Leon Blake finding the net and giving Evesham's promotion hopes a pre-Xmas boost.
