HEREFORD have called a precautionary inspection for 7.30am ahead of racing tomorrow due to the threat of frost.
Temperatures at the track are set to fall below freezing overnight, although the course is raceable at present.
Clerk of the course Gemma Charrington said: "It is purely a precautionary inspection as we are perfectly raceable at present and it is a lovely sunny day.
"We are forecast to fall to minus two tonight and I don't foresee any problems - if it were to fall lower than that we may have a problem.
"We are raceable though and we just wanted to make everyone aware of the situation."
