UPTON'S last Midlands Five West (South) match of 2006 saw them draw 3-3 at home to Coventry Welsh.
John Barry kicked Coventry ahead on 25 minutes with a penalty from 30 metres out.
Upton were level three minutes later when Rob Heeley slotted a penalty from 40 metres out.
In the second-half, Upton came out fighting but couldn't affect the outcome.
The result brings an end to a turbulent 12 months for Upton. They started the year at the top of their league and reached the promotion play-offs at the end of April but have struggled so far this season.
