KIDDERMINSTER Harriers travel to Ellesmere Port tomorrow night to play Vauxhall Motors in an FA Trophy first round replay they should never have needed (7.45pm).
Aggborough chief Mark Yates watched in horror as his side threw away a three-goal cushion and then conceded an injury-time equaliser to the Nationwide North outfit at home on Saturday.
Now the Harriers boss is determined to make up for the poor showing and seal a place in the second round when - if successful tomorrow night - they would face a potentially tricky trip to Conference play-off chasers Exeter.
Yates said: "We must make amends for Saturday's performance, but the best thing is that we are still in the cup.
"I would have been more disappointed with Saturday's result if it had meant we dropped two league points.
"We've seen what they are all about now. My players know they can't take them lightly and we have to make sure that what happened at the weekend doesn't happen again.
"If we apply ourselves properly tomorrow night and play like we did in the first-half on Saturday, we should win."
Injury doubts over on-loan duo Iyseden Christie, who has bagged 10 league and cup goals for Harriers so far this season, and West Brom midfielder Rob Davies have cleared up and Yates is expecting them both to figure tomorrow.
Club captain Stuart Whitehead, who has been struggling with a hamstring injury, should also make the 16-man squad for the trip up the M6.
Whitehead has a good chance of returning in a bid to plug a leaky defence which gave away goals like Christmas presents at the weekend.
Yates added: "Both Rob and Iyseden should be OK tomorrow. On Saturday, Rob went off with a calf problem, while we took Isyeden off because of a knee problem.
"However, both substitutions were precautionary and they are both alright.
"Stuart is recovering from his injury too and he may well be in the 16, but that is still to be finalised."
Mid-table Motors have a better away record than at home with just three wins at Rivacre Park from nine league games. Their last home victory was over Worcester City on September 16.
