KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have been handed a major boost after manager Steve Burr opted to stay at Aggborough.
The highly-rated 50-year-old, who led Harriers to second place in the Conference Premier last season, was interviewed for the vacancy at big-spending rivals Forest Green Rovers when Kidderminster gave permission for the talks.
But Burr returned to Worcestershire today to deliver the positive news and will now focus on winning the title for Harriers as well as progressing past Saturday's FA Cup first-round tie with Sutton United.
Assistant Gary Whild took charge of last weekend's 1-0 league defeat at Barnet while Burr spent time away from the club considering his future.
