MANAGER Steve Burr is glad Kidderminster Harriers have another crack at reaching the FA Cup first round proper tonight.

The Skrill Premier high-fliers avoided coming a cropper at the hands of lower-ranked Bradford Park Avenue with a 1-1 fourth qualifying round draw in Yorkshire on Sunday.

Having fallen behind to Alex Davidson’s 26th-minute strike, midfielder Jack Byrne brought the sides level nine minutes later to force tonight’s replay at Aggborough (7.45).

The winners will face a home tie against either Hemel Hempstead or Sutton United, who also meet again following a 3-3 draw in Hertfordshire.

Burr felt his team, second in non-league’s top tier following an unbeaten run of six league games, were given a stern test by the Skrill North outfit.

He said: “That was the toughest 90 minutes we’ve had and I did not expect anything less to be honest. The whole day had upset written all over it with the conditions.

“I congratulated our lads for sticking at it and we move on to have another crack at it tonight. It will be another tough 90 minutes I am sure and we’re just glad to still be in there.”

Harriers have cut their ticket prices for the match to £10 for adults and £5 concessions in a bid to entice a bumper crowd to Aggborough.
