WORCESTER Warriors fans are being sought to star in a series of new TV adverts for Premier-ship Rugby title sponsor Aviva.

The new ads will appear around ITV’s rugby coverage later in the season and form part of an on-going initiative by Aviva to bring fans closer to the action through their sponsorship.

In keeping with the brand’s current marketing campaign which identifies that ‘little things matter’ Aviva will be looking to use match tickets, player appearances, match-day programme pages and pitch-side advertising boards – as well as the new TV adverts – to recognise deserving fans and customers during the new season.

“We understand how much a fan's club matters to them and love how passionate rugby supporters are about their team,” explained Aviva ambassador and former England scrum-half Austin Healey.

“From travelling the lengths of England, to the important rituals before a game, like wearing your lucky scarf or a pre-match routine.

“We want to hear fans’ stories demonstrating why their team is so important to them then they could become the stars of the new Aviva TV ads.”

To get involved, Aviva is asking Warriors supporters to send an email of no more than 50 words to rugby@aviva.co.uk, entitled ‘What Matters’ and their club name, or to tweet using #WhatMattersRugby, about why their club matters so much to them and how they show this.

Aviva will also be engaging with fans at this weekend’s fixtures, so Worcester fans making the trip to Exeter’s Sandy Park should keep their eyes peeled for the cameras.

Aviva will be recording with fans as they enter grounds to watch their sides go into battle in the next round of the Premiership. All nominations must be sent in by midnight on Monday, November 4.
