JOE Lolley and Nathan Blissett have been tipped to continue their goal-scoring exploits for Kidderminster Harriers.
The pair have been preferred up front in the last two Skrill Premier games and Harriers triumphed in both – 4-1 against Forest Green Rovers at home and 2-1 at Southport last Saturday.
Both were on target at Haig Avenue and are set to get the nod for today’s visit of Lincoln City to Aggborough (3pm). Michael Gash and Anthony Malbon were higher up the pecking order earlier in the season but Gash has struggled with a toe injury while Malbon has dropped to the bench.
Blissett’s strike against Southport was his first goal of the season but Lolley has netted three times since making the massive jump up from Midland Combination Premier Division outfit Littleton.
Assistant manager Gary Whild said: “Joe and Bliss have done well in the last two games in what has been a winning combination and we would be reluctant to change that at the moment.
“Joe’s a very talented player, but it’s not enough just to have the talent, you have to be able to apply it in match situations and he has done extremely well with that since coming in.””
“He’s scored three times and if he keeps developing, I see no reason why he shouldn’t go higher.”
Whild added: “Bliss is a very similar player to Jamille Matt and at the same stage in their respective careers, I thought Bliss was ahead of him.”
