HIGH-flying Stourport men's firsts continued their impressive season with a 7-0 thrashing of top-five side City of Peterborough.
Phil Lashford, Imran Yousaf and Rob Allen all scored twice with Lee Slip also on target for third-placed Stourport in English Hockey League National North.
Stourport women's firsts were unable to name any subs but dominated a 1-0 friendly win at Telford and Wrekin.
Melissa Kennedy bagged the only goal as the hosts' goalkeeper put on a vintage display.
Stourport played excellent passing hockey and Kennedy found the net from virtually the first hit-back on five minutes after a good move.
Hard-working midfielder Georgi Burns was player-of-the-match for the visitors.
Fran Baron was the solitary scorer as the seconds lost 4-1 at home to Bournville in a friendly.
Stourport, fielding a much-changed side, more than held their own but could not convert first-half chances.
Bournville took the lead against the run of play before the interval but Baron, joint player-of-the-match with Hannah Corcoran, levelled in the second-half.
However, Bournville regained the lead through a controversial penalty flick and added two more goals through short corners.
Stourport thirds fought back from a 1-0 half-time deficit to draw 1-1 with Worcester thirds, thanks to Katy Spencer's equaliser.
Stourport had a lot of possession against strong opposition but the city side went ahead following a free hit with 10 minutes left of the half.
The Wyre Forest outfit hit back with good moves down the wings and levelled when Spencer turned in Cali Taylor's strong shot.
Worcester came back strongly but youngster Lucy Mattocks performed well at right-back and Gemma Brookes impressed in attack.
The fourths won a thriller 4-3 against Worcester fourths with Natalie Marshall, Jen Peniket, Alex Totney and Hannah Terry on target.
Worcester went ahead on 10 minutes which woke up Stourport, who scored a bizarre goal turned in by a visitors' defender from Marshall's shot.
They went ahead with Peniket scoring after exchanging passes with Totney, who then struck the third via an opponent's stick.
Worcester pulled the score back to 3-2 by the interval but Stourport increased the advantage through Terry from a short corner.
While Stourport were pegged back by a third goal, Peniket hit the post.
Stourport Under 18s saw off Ludlow 6-3 with Mel Turley (two), Nicky Beasley (two), Totney and Sarah Cavendish scoring.
The under 15s defeated Nuneaton 8-0 in the National Cup second round.
Holly Jones, Brookes, Corcoran (two), Dannielle Turley, Jess Viney, captain Baron and Chloe Marshall-Walker capped a great team display.
A mixed firsts and seconds women's team host Solihull Blossomfield on Saturday (2pm), while a mixed thirds and fourths side visit the same club (1.30pm).
