GEORGE Porter will make his first Worcester Warriors appearance in over nine months after being named at loosehead prop for tomorrow's trip to London Wasps (3pm).
It will be the 24-year-old's second Aviva Premiership start for Warriors after he was ruled out for most of last season with a shoulder problem.
Forwards Euan Murray and Chris Jones are recalled to the side as Warriors and Wasps both search for their first win of the campaign.
Semisi Taulava will add firepower at number eight in a backline also featuring captain Jonathan Thomas and Jake Abbott.
New signing wing Dean Hammond is handed a place on the bench after impressing for Cavaliers in recent weeks, while hooker Chris Brooker could also make his Aviva Premiership return from the bench.
Director of Rugby Dean Ryan said: "We've got a game against a side that are struggling to get results as well so whoever gets one this weekend will be pretty pleased.
"Then we've got Newcastle back at Sixways so we've just got to keep working and getting better.
"There's a real tendency to pull everything apart but we've played two of the top sides in our first three games.
"We have got to understand where we are and we have to ensure when we get into those games where we can be a little more competitive, we are more clinical and get the win.
"There will be pace and intensity from Wasps and Christian Wade. If we can't cope with the pace he will get the chance to come over the top of us.
"If we can get a bit more control of the game we will see a bit more of our attacking game.”
