KIDDERMINSTER Harriers and Hereford United are both in action today as they aim to continue their fine starts to the season.
Harriers head to Nuneaton and Hereford to Alfreton (both 3pm) intent on consolidating their position among the early-season Skrill Premier pace-setters.
Goals from Josh Gowling, Marvin Johnson and Joe Lolley gave Kidderminster a 3-1 victory over newly-promoted Chester on Saturday to lift them to second in the table with three wins from four games.
The Bulls remain unbeaten in fifth after Sam Smith’s strike proved decisive in a 1-0 win over Tamworth at Edgar Street.
Elsewhere today, Evesham United will be hoping to put a 6-0 drubbing at Wimborne Town behind them when they host Stratford Town in the Calor Southern League Division One South and West.
Shaun Cunnington’s side have picked up just one point from their first three games, while Stratford have two wins under their belt following promotion from the Midland Alliance, including Saturday’s 5-1 triumph at Thatcham Town.
In the Midland Alliance, Westfields, who drew 1-1 at Coleshill Town at the weekend, travel to Wulfrunians and Stourport Swifts visit table-toppers Tividale (both 3pm) on the back of a 3-0 win against Quorn at Walshes Meadow.
