ASSISTANT manager Gary Whild believes Kidderminster Harriers can go one better next season and win promotion to the Football League.
The Aggborough club fell agonisingly short of achieving their dream, losing to Wrexham in the Blue Square Bet Premier play-off semi-finals.
But they are already targeting success in 2013-14 and so far have 12 players signed up to launch their challenge.
Goalkeeper Danny Lewis, defenders Mickey Demetriou, Lee Vaughan, Chey Dunkley and Josh Gowling, midfield trio James Vincent, Kyle Storer and Danny Jackman and strikers Ryan Rowe, Nathan Blissett, Michael Gash and Anthony Malbon are all under contract.
Whild said: “To push Mansfield all the way for the title was a fantastic acheivement, as was making the play-offs for the first time.
“We would have loved to have gone all the way, but with 12 players already secured for next season there’s no reason why we can’t build on this.
"Look at what happened to Wrexham last season when they came second and lost in the play-offs. They have bounced back and hopefully will go on to win promotion.
“They are the example we have to follow. With the experience the players have now I don’t see why we can’t have a good go at it.”
Captain Storer added: “It’s been magnificent, but we haven’t achieved anything, so we’ll look to go one better.”
