WORCESTER Wolves are hoping they can persuade Stan Ocitti to remain with the British Basketball League club for next season.
The 32-year-old power forward, who has enjoyed an impressive debut campaign in helping Wolves finish fifth in the Championship, is pondering his future in the sport.
Ocitti is currently on a scholarship programme with Wolves — he completes a masters degree in business administration at the University of Worcester this summer — but could be kept on as a professional.
Head coach Paul James said: “Stan is a student this year but is someone who’d we really like to keep.
“He will graduate but is trying to decide whether he wants to continue playing or retire. He’s around all summer so well continue to talk.”
Ocitti averaged 13.9 points per game for Worcester as well as 9.2 rebounds.
