FORMER Bishop’s Cleeve boss Paul Collicutt is among a host of candidates in the frame to become Evesham United’s new manager.
With Paul West stepping down in the summer to take over as the club’s director of football, the Robins want a replacement.
Chairman Jim Cockerton hopes to have the new man in place by mid-May and says there has been plenty of interest.
He said: “We have had about 10 or 11 applicants so far and haven’t really advertised it.
“I would think we will be looking to do the interviews the week I get back from holiday and have somebody in place by about May 17.”
On Collicutt, the Evesham chief added: “He’s a possibility, he’s applied for the job before.”
United visit Wimborne in Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South and West tomorrow (3pm) looking to bounce back from Tuesday’s 2-0 home defeat to Mangotsfield.
