WORCESTER Warriors will be taking a youthful team to tomorrow’s Aberdeen Asset Management Melrose Sevens for the first time.

The side includes three players with first-team experience as Ollie Hayes, Ben Howard and Richard de Carpentier all form part of the 10-man squad.

Academy youngsters Josh Buggea and Joe Nellany are also involved as Warriors play their first sevens rugby since last summer's JP Morgan event at Kingsholm.

Fellow Aviva Premiership side Saracens, who Warriors face at Allianz Park in the league on Sunday, will also be sending a team to the tournament.

French giants Clermont Auvergne are also involved in the tournament as are India, a country where rugby is very much on the rise. Warriors kick-off their challenge at 2.04pm against the winners of the match between Currie and Boroughmuir.
