WORCESTERSHIRE wrapped up a comfortable eight-wicket win over Gloucestershire in their warm-up match at Kidderminster.
After bowling out their opponents for 101 in 26.3 overs, the County eased to their target in 16 overs, losing Moeen Ali (50) and Alexei Kervezee (12), before continuing for the full 40 and recording 278-6.
Captain Daryl Mitchell made 74, while Neil Pinner scored 61, Ben Cox 38 not out and Tom Kohler-Cadmore 30.
With the ball, spinner Moeen took 4-39 off eight overs, Nick Harrison 3-26 off eight and David Lucas 2-12 off five. Benny Howell was Gloucestershire’s top scorer with 50.
Worcestershire are in action again today as they host Gloucestershire in a two-day friendly contest at Chester Road (10.30am).
