HEREFORD United look set to be without striker Marlon Jackson for tonight’s Blue Square Bet Premier visit of Dartford (7.45).
The 22-year-old suffered a recurrence of a knee injury in last Saturday’s 2-1 home defeat to Hyde and is expected to be out for a while.
Jackson missed nearly four months earlier in the campaign with a knee problem but had scored two goals in his last four matches.
Manager Martin Foyle said: “It looks like he has tweaked his knee again. He’s had a poor season in terms of injury.
“We’ll make sure he gets the right treatment.”
Jackson is the latest addition to the casualty list, which also includes full-back Andy Gallinagh, who is still sidelined by a bout of food poisoning.
Fellow defender James Musa has returned to Fulham after contracting glandular fever, cutting short his three-month loan deal.
Leading scorer Ryan Bowman could come in for Jackson, while midfielder Craig Jones, who appeared as a second-half sub against Hyde after joining from Westfields last week, will be hoping for more playing time tonight.
Only 1,152 turned out for the Hyde game at Edgar Street, which went ahead after volunteers cleared snow from the pitch, and not many more are expected for the Dartford clash.
The Bulls will be aiming for revenge after losing 4-0 in Kent last September, while 12th-placed Dartford are looking to build on last Saturday’s 3-0 victory against Gateshead .
