KIDDERMINSTER Harriers continue their Blue Square Bet Premier title challenge tomorrow against Tamworth at Aggborough (3pm).
Boosted by last Saturday’s impressive 3-1 win at fellow promotion hopefuls Grimsby Town, Harriers remain firmly in the mix at the summit.
With nine games left, Steve Burr’s side are three points behind leaders Wrexham in third place.
They will look to keep the pressure on the Welsh side and second-placed Mansfield by beating their Midlands rivals.
Kidderminster captain Kyle Storer said: “We’ve got nine cup finals left and there is no let-up. At this stage of the season, draws are not good enough, we’ve got to be winning games.
“I am not even thinking about the play-offs. I want to win the league. The title race is so open and, at this stage, any one of five teams can win it and I am hoping this will be Harriers’ year.”
Storer will miss the Lambs match and Tuesday’s trip to Newport County, another team vying for honours, after picking up his 10th booking of the campaign against Grimsby.
But on-loan Cambridge United striker Michael Gash will seek to add to his first goal for the club last weekend, while in-form fellow frontman Anthony Malbon has scored nine in eight games after netting twice against the Mariners.
Harriers can complete the double over the Lambs, who are without a win in three matches, after Ryan Rowe’s strike proved decisive when the sides met in December.
