KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have strengthened their forward line by signing experienced goalscorer Greg Pearson from promotion rivals Grimsby Town.
The 27-year-old Birmingham-born forward helped fire Burton Albion to the Blue Square Bet Premier title in 2009 with 18 goals.
Pearson will join Harriers on Monday on loan until the end of the season and will be available to manager Steve Burr for Tuesday’s league trip to Gateshead.
He began his career at West Ham United but only started to find his scoring touch with non-league Bishop’s Stortford, bagging 27 goals in season 2007-08.
Pearson joined Burton for their championship campaign and then netted 14 in their first League Two season.
However, his chances with the Brewers became limited and he managed three on loan at Crewe Alexandra before joining Grimsby last summer, scoring twice in seven starts.
