INTERNATIONAL trio Alex Grove, Matt Kvesic and Matt Mullan come back into Richard Hill’s thinking for tomrrow’s trip to Bath (2.15pm), but wing Nikki Walker is likely to sit the game out.

Centre Grove and wing Walker are back at Worcester after Scotland ‘A’s victory over an England Saxons side that featured Mullan, while Kvesic has been released from the Red Rose senior side’s training squad.

Loosehead Mullan, back-rower Kvesic and Grove are all poised to return to the Warriors side for the match at The Rec, but the form of wings David Lemi and Josh Drauniniu will see Walker, who has also been training with the senior Scotland squad, miss out.

Hill explained: “There will be a few changes to the team that played Saracens last week.

“Alex will be in our thoughts, so will Matt Kvesic and Matt Mullan, but Nikki, at this stage, may not be because I think Josh and David played very well and I’d look to keep them in place.

“I will treat all the players the same whether they are staying or leaving — they are Worcester players until the last day of their contract.

“Matt Kvesic is outstanding, but he may not play all the time at seven now, which will leave opportunities for Jake Abbott and others.

“I was putting Matt at seven, the position he wants to play, as we were desperately trying to keep him, but now it might be slightly different.

“Matt is an outstanding back-row forward, though, and if he continues to play as he has done, will be in our back row every week.”
