Good morning Worcester sports fans, sports reporter Theo Gardner here, ready to take you through all of Worcester's biggest sporting headlines this week, and what is coming up.

The biggest news of this week came as former Worcester Sixth Form student, Laura Blindkilde Brown, received her first call up to the England senior squad.

Worcester City won a tough outing at home against Boldmere St Michaels on Saturday, with one of their coaches calling the result 'the best three points of the season'. The win was their sixth in a row in all competitions - they will look to make it seven later today against Bedworth United.

Sticking with Worcester City news, this week saw the successful launch of their community outreach program.

On Sunday, Worcester City women play against West Bromwich Albion in the second round proper of the Adobe Women's FA Cup.

Ahead of the fixture, the side have called for equality of pay in FA Cup prize funds between men's and women's sides. I spoke to owner Nicole Allison about the decision to join the Equal FA Cup Campaign.

Nicole also spoke to me about the club's Rise Hub - aiming to empower grassroots girls football in the county.

In cricket news, Worcestershire CCC have signed new contracts with Gareth Roderick and Ben Allison. The Worcestershire Rapids draw for the inaugural Vitality T20 Women's County Cricket has been announced, and Himbleton Cricket Club is at risk of losing the ground they have played at since the 1950s under a new planning in principle application.

Finally for all those Warriors fans eagerly awaiting news for the hopeful return of the club, we explained what the next steps are in the application process, before Warriors find out if they will enter England Rugby's new revamped second tier.
