The following cases have been heard at Worcester Magistrates Court. 

 

SHANNON JOHNSON, 36, of Twin Oaks Caravan Park in Cleeve Prior, Evesham, admitted affray. 

Johnson committed the offence on July 6 in Evesham. 

Johnson was jailed for 18 weeks, suspended for 18 months. 

Johnson was ordered to pay costs of £185 and victim surcharge of £187. 

 

BOBBY SMITH, of Orchard Grove in Littleworth, Worcester, has admitted using threatening and abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm, or distress and assault by beating. 

Both offences took place in Worcester on February 6. 

The 29-year-old is set to be sentenced at Worcester Magistrates Court on August 10. 

Smith has been given conditional bail.

 

OLIVER WATTIE, of Astwood Road, Worcester, has been found guilty of theft from a shop. 

The 35-year-old did not appear for the trial and was found guilty in his absence. 

Wattie stole washing tablets, valued at £18.40, from Tesco Express in Worcester, on April 25 this year. 

A warrant was issued for Wattie's arrest.

 

Matthew Dolphin, 30, of Woodmans Rise, Droitwich, has admitted racially/religiously aggravated intentional harassment/alarm/distress - words/writing and drink driving. 

Both offences took place on June 11 in Worcester and Droitwich. 

His case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report. 

Dolphin is set to be sentenced at Worcester Magistrates Court on August 8.
