THESE photos show a bird's eye view of a major new multi-million pound development which has transformed the look and feel of the city.
A series of dramatic photos of the Sherriff's Gate development in Sherriff Street which has changed Worcester's skyline forever have been released.
Taken by Neil Rutter of Gorilla Drones, the photos show the multi-million development as you have never seen it before - from the air.
It is nearly a year since work got underway on the project with a ground-cutting ceremony attended by dignitaries including the former Mayor of Worcester, Cllr Adrian Gregson, and Stennard Harrison, managing director of Worcester-based Sherriff Gate Developments.
At the time Mr Harrison said the development would bring 'hundreds of permanent jobs' to the city and a 'massive injection of cash' via shops, leisure activities, food outlets, a gym and a 200-bed hotel.
We reported last month how the new windows could be seen gleaming behind the protective layer of scaffolding in which they have been enclosed for months.
When the project is finished and the scaffolding stripped away, the rooms behind the new glass will command some of the most spectacular views in Worcester.

The project dwarves the surrounding buildings and competes with some of the city's tallest buildings to dominate the skyline, including Worcester Cathedral, the Hive and St Andrew's Spire.
Meanwhile, the flats continue to rise and take shape, looming over Sherriff Street and Tolladine Road as workmen in hard hats and high-vis tabards can be seen on the various levels.
Looking from Tolladine Road, the new building forms a sheer canyon over the main road, perched on its high vantage point near the railway bridge.
The £150 million Sherriff's Gate project is transforming the look and feel of the city, the buildings visible for miles around.
When completed, the development will include hundreds of new apartments, a hotel, gym, multi-storey car park and shops for food and drink as well as a multi-screen cinema.
Billed as one of the largest mixed-use developments ever to be undertaken in Worcester, the project will create 650 homes.
The Elliott Group has been working on the structure as the main contractor of the residential apartment development within phase one.
When work began last summer, Stennard Harrison said: “When complete, the £150 million investment in the revival of the city’s Shrub Hill area, will comprise hundreds of new apartments, including affordable housing, a hotel, a gym, a multi-storey car park, food and beverage outlets and a multiscreen cinema and ten-pin bowling.
“This huge project is a significant boost to the local economy bringing hundreds of jobs to the city and providing much-needed housing for the people of Worcester and the opportunity for local people to get on the freehold ladder.”
